  1. Am I looking for a return on my investment or a return on my effort?
  2. Do I fundamentally understand that compound interest is not synonymous with hard work, but rather the calm skill of doing the specific work that compounds (instead of the work that earns)?
  3. How much time do I reasonably have to spend on my investment? And is my time worth the time spent to invest?
  4. How much time a week am I able to commit to educating myself on my investment in order to learn how to make the return consistent and increasing?
  5. Do I understand that failure is a part of the process in getting to the appropriate investment that will compound?
  6. Am I aware that the long-term commitment of time and consistent energy is the only way any investment has the opportunity to grow and return beyond what is invested?
  7. Do I understand that no investment should be made from fear, but rather from a place of freedom, clarity, and context in order to make an optimal long-term decision?
  8. Have I made the distinction between investing time and investing energy?
  9. Have I clarified the difference in my mind between the investment of money and the investment of learning how money works?
  10. Is my investment for me, or for someone else’s agenda that I want to fulfill?
