  1. Am I a victim of my own perspective?
  2. Do I trust the individual who is telling me what I don’t want to hear?
  3. Is the individual delivering this hard truth being caring and considerate in their approach?
  4. How hard is it on the person who has to deliver this truth to me?
  5. Am I being open in receiving what I don’t like hearing?
  6. Am I someone who values improvement on any level?
  7. Is this hard truth being told to me from a place of understanding and compassion, or is it being shared to prove an unhelpful point?
  8. Will this truth help me improve my self-awareness?
  9. Is this truth going to allow greater accountability?
  10. Will this truth liberate me, or will it further confine me in my perception of myself?
