  1. Is there a day in the recent past that has felt worse than how I’m feeling today?
  2. Do I have perspective on what I consider to be bad in my day?
  3. Is what I’m feeling bad about based on my expectation of what I think is good, or did I have absolutely no control over what has happened today?
  4. Is what I consider bad today going to matter in two weeks? Is it going to matter in 25 years?
  5. Is my day predicated on being triggered or dictated by an outside source that has nothing to do with me internally?
  6. Do I consider a bad day an opportunity to grow or a justification to practice negative self-talk?
  7. Am I being rational?
  8. Am I rationalizing whoever or whatever I’m blaming for how this day has gone?
  9. Do I take full responsibility for how I’m viewing the day?
  10. Am I accountable for the outcome of my point of view when it’s blocking the objectivity I could be discovering if I were able to see outside of myself?
