Acknowledgment to yourself.
Acknowledging oneself is important. It will help you know you have a notable purpose beyond how you may feel on some days.
I always understood my greatness and my shortcomings, even during many experiences in my life when I was being ridiculed. When that happened, I didn’t say a thing about who I am, where I’m from, or how people misunderstood me. I always knew in my heart that I was doing right by myself and the people around me. Therefore, when going through experiences like watching close friends spread untrue, vicious rumors for no other reason than the anxiety of the unknown, the insecurity of envy, and/or the immaturity of being inexperienced, I was completely unbothered at all times outside of the obvious feeling of disappointment.
Self-acknowledgment — not self-aggrandizement or self-deprecation, but a true and balanced acknowledgment of oneself — is the most important and ultimate measure and anchor one ever needs. When that internal acknowledgement exists, external events are much more easily contextualized and navigated while keeping a clear direction toward one’s individual objectives.
