Corporate doesn’t suck.

Corporate on its own is a place of opportunity, policy, and discipline. It doesn’t have to be a bad thing but can be a bad thing lacking impact based on a bad attitude. The politics are what they are. With power and hierarchy, there will always be dysfunction, secrets, and misinformation to take advantage of the disadvantage. This is true based on humans, not business. To understand the business of corporate, it is vital to understand the humans that run it, not the business, as business changes. Humans don’t. As my dad says, people are people. My dad has said this to me since I was a small child for anything and everything as it remains true in every circumstance with no exception. This guiding light of my father along with his ability to counsel me is the reason that I am and have always been on the path of construction as opposed to distracted distraction that we all are susceptible to without the right kind of guidance. The operative word being: kind. In order to co-operate in corporate, there must be cooperation on both sides in order to make progress not just product. While the product/service is the primary function of a functioning business, integrity is the number one as well as the first ingredient of a successful operation in any business of any scale as well as scope.
