Cultivating a clear office environment is the optimal environment for all. When things are clear in terms of expectations, compensation, and process to execute at a granular level for the individual, the environment becomes creative in a results-driven way based on cruise control versus one individual driver. The best teams agree on their appointed leader based on the leader’s ability to properly articulate expectations invisible to the common practice of work and its hardships. I personally refer to the proper function in any business as “perfection.” Not because the business is perfect but because its process can be with the appropriate refinement rooted in independent judgment. This perfection can be attained with the right team, but it cannot be maintained without a clear environment.
