Earn money to keep it. Not to spend it.

We are so obsessed in this day and age with showing everyone what we have online that the whole point of money is lost for the youth. Money is a tool to build things that matter, not to show the public what they don’t have. This envy building exercise only eventually leads to one of two outcomes:

1. People claiming they’re “influenced” in trying to copy (when in reality, that is a form of competition because they’re measuring against what they see); or
2. Trying to figure out ways to be creatively negative toward something that they wish they had: money.
