No matter what side one is on, we can all agree that there is opportunity on both sides to be even more reasonable.

Each side will always inflate it’s contribution and diminish the other side’s. At this point, coming to terms with these terms and their conditions is paramount to progress.

Progress is all we can hope for, as there will never be an ideal in negotiation. There is only the possibility of a reasonable future for all people when the politics are reasonable. Criticism isn’t helpful for any one person, as there’s never been an individual I’ve ever known who likes to be creatively criticized.

Accepting what is will always be better than perceiving what isn’t.
