First Win in Almost 1000 Days
Sir Lewis Hamilton is not only a brilliant driver, a proper sportsman, and a unique humanitarian, he is one of a kind. A kind and caring individual who has gone through more internally in the public eye than most of us will ever experience in this life. It’s one thing to struggle in life, as we all can relate to. It’s an entirely different matter to struggle at the top of the world.
Sir Lewis Hamilton has not only won today, but he has won back what was taken from him on December 12, 2021, by the undefined rules of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix race.
There is no argument that Max Verstappen is one of the greatest drivers ever in Formula 1, both statistically and subjectively. One must give respect where it is due, especially when it comes to all 20 elite drivers, with Verstappen being at the top of the conversation. What isn’t up for debate is that Sir Lewis Hamilton is the greatest Formula 1 driver in the history of the sport from a standpoint of overcoming adversity alone.
Each one of the F1 drivers has gone through tremendous adversity beyond how it appears on the surface. Each one of their families has sacrificed at a level only a small minority can relate to.
