I’ve recently received the following messages from a few close individuals that have known me for 20-plus years. I share this in the spirit of results, perseverance, and clear knowing in self-belief.

Evening. Sending a quick check in note. My hope is that your time has been spent lighting up those around you with a genuine smile

I would like to say foremost that I am a fan of you and your creations musically. And am an admirer of you as a person. I have a deep respect for how you carry yourself in this world and have a deep respect for what you create musically and in business. Your empathy and is unmatched and the care you put into grooming yourself and others is beyond rare. I give notes for my peace of mind in case you choose to implement them. If not, I am still happy with the product without my notes being applied. It’s your vision and your creation. And I agree that you know best.

But what’s most important in my life is your friendship and how selfless you were when you showed up in my life at a time when I was not a good friend. I am lucky to have someone like you to influence me that way you have.

Since we cannot have the true heros be portrayed in movies (they don’t do movies, they inspire them)*… that’s the job of actors…

But somewhere along the line people started praising the actors and they rarely look for the true heros that make others their own hero’s like you.
