Self-Health

Self-health has many applications, but only one meaning. Its meaning is derived from understanding the self outside of unfounded confidence. Unfounded confidence is the type of confidence supported by little-to-no realistic and/or objective qualifications. This type of confidence has become more dominant in the digital age when individuals are not confined to our qualifications in real life but, rather, perceived based on qualifications we can manufacture in an online avatar/profile which encompasses all the attributes and qualifications we’ve always wanted in real life but may not have achieved.

Unfounded confidence preys on those who lack the courage to accept themselves and work to know themselves outside of conformity. I believe unfounded confidence is a beneficial component of self-confidence. It can, however, be an equally destructive component in terms of self-health.

In general terms, unfounded confidence can be beneficial when directionalized in terms of visualization. One’s Behavioral RNA™️ traditionally dictates the degree to which we choose to incorporate unfounded confidence. One must have elements of unfounded confidence — as well as luck — when setting big goals. Where big goal setting veers toward a negative shape is when one spends anything less than 90 percent of one’s time on clear and very specific actions to make their big goal a probability. There is a direct positive correlation between the amount of time spent on clear and specific actions toward a goal and the likelihood of the goal becoming a reality. Likewise, there is an inverse negative correlation between the likelihood of achieving a goal and the amount of time spent acting or thinking as if they’ve already achieved the goal (as opposed to tangibly pursuing it).

It is easy to mix up self-health and self-help when we lack an understanding of ourselves. The way to make the distinction is:

  • Self-help is the exploration of the external advice of the human experience.
  • Self-health is the continuous exploration of the inner self at its base.

These two very different concepts run parallel and do not intersect at their core. Self-health allows internal wealth that drives mental prosperity beyond external guidance. The best conclusions for one’s life are always found internally.

What is the best advice you’ve ever given yourself?
