Member-only story
The management of emotions.
Being the manager of one’s emotions takes time, not discipline. It takes experience, not self-perception. Without a core understanding that one cannot control the day, the day will control the individual. When one attempts to control actions by rigid and/or subjective processes based on comfort versus quality, it adds unnecessary strain to all aspects of one’s thoughts and behavior. The lack of control we all have is much greater than we give credit for based on our intelligent ability to storytell.
