There are many injustices in the world externally, but none are greater than our internal injustice.

It goes without saying that we, as humans, are aware of the injustice in the external world. While some groups have the benefit of leveraging this injustice to fight their external battles, none of us get away with leveraging anything internally. We all have emotions to deal with, challenges, disappointments, as well as the stress of stress. The injustice internally is that we are so focused on our leverage, competition, and envy externally that we fail to manage the internal. There is a reason that most wealthy people don’t live past 80. And if they do, it’s rarely pleasant. The reason for this in most circumstances is that their mastery of the external is often far more advanced and focused on than the inner workings of their being as a human. Since we do live in a world where luck is paramount in all circumstances, the people that receive this kick capitalize on it enough to leverage their advantages against the many injustices of the world. While this is a notable acknowledgment and (in some extremely productive cases) praise, the fact remains that most are unhealthy inside. With the advent of YouTube, etc. there is always old information presented in a new fashion. This is never more prevalent in terms of money than the “new” discovery that expensive possessions don’t make one rich and/or (in most cases) happy. This fact is a clear pattern in history that has existed for thousands of years in every empire of the world. Therefore, while the focus on the unfair nature of not just life and its nature but the injustice in the world deserves acknowledgment, improvement, and justice, the lack of internal focus is a much greater tragedy that most have not identified in history. If an issue is not just identified but identified as a problem, there is an absolute certainty that the problem — whatever it may be — will not improve, much less have the possibility of being fixed. The probability that human nature will identify this issue that plagues us all as a race is slim to none, but it will always be a worthy topic of discussion as well as deep reflection.

What is the worst internal injustice you have created for yourself and, in turn, your life?
