We’re all performers in society.

When we’re in public in general there’s a level of performance needed to be cordial. Even when we’re being ourselves, we are performing. Some people take that idea of performing too far on the spectrum because of other wants and needs for fame, money, etc.

It is a performance when we write anything, play music, put together a film, or even have a conversation. It’s all a version of performing. The ones we adore most in society are those who can perform authentically. That is a very challenging thing to do with the strong, traditional expectations nearly all of us are exposed to. Hence, why we value people who are able to overcome those traditional expectations and present who they really are.
